Eye-catching booklet and annual report design for a Portsmouth authority
Project overview
Langstone Harbour Board are based on Hayling Island, Hampshire, and are an authority who ensure Langstone Harbour remains safe and ecologically sound, and that visitors are aware of laws and guidelines.
I have previously designed booklet guides and an annual report for the LHB. As they were so pleased with those projects, they chose to use me again for their 2023 Harbour Guide booklet design and a tide-tables insert. For the 2023 edition, I was asked to design an A5-sized, 24 page, booklet that would engage readers and be easy to use. As the sea is close to my heart I particularly enjoyed working on these projects!
Scope of design projects
- A5 size Harbour Guide design
- Annual report design
- Tide tables insert design
- Colour adjustments to photos
- Creating web-safe pdfs
- Liaise with a local graffiti artist, to arrange use of a ‘gull’ illustration
